The
Algonquin Farmers Market is looking for volunteers! We have so
many exciting things we hope to do this year, and we will only
be able to accomplish our goals with your help. From one-time
events to involvement with ongoing projects, there is an opportunity
for everyone to contribute, helping ensure that the Algonquin
Farmers Market, remains a vibrant, fresh, exciting part of our
community. The Market thrives on its volunteer staff. Without
our volunteers the Market wouldn’t be what it is.
Costs add up. There are a lot of hidden costs in running a farmers
market, including publicity, directional signs, trash pick-up,
insurance, and even hosting a website and sending newsletters.
Any donation, sponsorships or volunteering is greatly appreciated.
The Algonquin Farmers Market so donations are fully tax deductible
as allowed by law.
Some of the benefits of volunteering: It’s fun, you get to meet
new people, have a few laughs and relish in the knowledge that
you are making a positive difference in your community and it’s
a great way to give something back to the community!!
